VSSJA-1 (BF) Single Flange Limited Telescopic Joint Overview

The Mingchao VSSJA-1 (BF) is a single-flange limited telescopic joint for piping arrangements that require a flanged connection on one side and a pipe-end/sleeve connection on the other. The telescopic section provides controlled installation adjustment before the selected configuration is secured.

The body, gasket and follower form the adjustable sealing assembly. The limited short pipe and long- and short-stud arrangement control the permitted telescopic configuration. Final selection depends on the actual pipe outside diameter, installation geometry, interface dimensions and engineering requirements.

How the BF Configuration Works

The pipe-end side enters the body and sleeve assembly, while the opposite side connects through a single flange. The follower compresses the gasket around the adjustable interface. After the required installation position is established, the limited short pipe and stud arrangement control the available axial configuration.

The published ΔL values describe the documented adjustment geometry. Final operating conditions, restraint requirements and installation details must be reviewed for the project.
